Personal

• I am married to Yongxian Wu, who earned her PhD in Engineering from UC Irvine as well.

  • We are blessed with our son, Nolan, who was born in December 2025.

• We have a baby boy cat named Ruby, following the gemstone name series along with my wife’s other cat, Sapphire. (I don’t really know how to code in Ruby – just like he doesn’t understand a word I say.)

We held our wedding ceremonies in Laguna Hills and took photos at Laguna Beach, a beautiful coastal spot near UC Irvine.
